This app is designed as a pocket reference/educational tool to improve access, and awareness, of the Wessex Trauma Network Guidelines (University Hospital Southampton).
It has been compiled with the aim of improving usability of this reference. The complete guideline (version current as of May 2016) is included to provide additional context.
The contents within may be of interest to a wider audience. This application does not represent a universal guideline for the management of trauma and the user must consider their own local practice, procedures, protocols and guidelines.
A major review of the content is expected to be completed before March 2017. This app will be periodically updated, and it is the user’s responsibility to ensure that they are using the most recent version.
This app is unable to replicate the doctor-patient relationship. Therefore, clinical context must be taken in account when using the content. It remains the users responsibility to apply clinical judgement and operate within professional competence.
